Can I just say how frusterating it is with this LMBE situation going on currently?! 

So I am a mod/site designer at this LEGO site that strives to be kid friendly. We are working in trying to update the site and all seems well in moderation. Out of nowhere the site admin makes a post at midnight saying he is going to literally shut the website down in 2 days because he dosnt want to deal with the stress, with NO warning to ANY mods or anyone and a very distant aditude. Also when I suggest to at least allow me and other users (as there is over 75 active members) to try and work on another site he argues with me to never try to run a forum, it's too much work, you'll fail, etc.

And I'm trying to help keep things calm and rage who,e community starts freaking out, and then lots of them all popping up making their own forums and saying "USE MY SITE! MAKE ME ADMIN! ACT NOW!" And I tried to just all a meeting ask for volunteered and think it through. This whole day was nothing but kindergarteners arguing on the playground. (>_<) ... Granted there were times I got sarcastic and stupid. I'm not perfect myself sadly but still..... It can be somed up in this emote:   


That being said, towards the end of the day the admin finally heared everyone's plead to just transfer the admin account to someone else. And now it's a 3 way vote between me and 2 others on who gets the account. If I get it I plan to share the account with others as to prevent this kind of stuff from happening again, as I don't want to nessarly be the "head". The site is for everyone.  


That being said, some of the admin's issues I understood and I got along with him as a friend. Though this was honestly a shock and surprise. Mainly the execution of this at the spur of the moment I feel was very wrong. Still, I pray things work out for the better.
